This is a wonderfully refreshing breakfast, perfect for hot morning. Its easy to prepare and seriously good for you!
RAW APPLE AND PEAR PORRIDGE – serves 2
- 1 large apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 large pear, peeled and chopped
- 2/3 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- maple syrup or agave nectar
- chopped almond – optional
Blend the almond milk, pear, apple, chia seeds and vanilla until slightly smooth ( don’t over blend, it should still have a porridge consistency).
Pour into a bowl and add desired amount of sweetener. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until chilled. Top with almonds and enjoy 🙂
