Green tea is not something that is for everyone. Some people love the taste some people hate it. Some people just force it down like its castor oil and some people can’t wait for another cup. Me?! I’m not sure. Sometimes I like the taste, sometimes it feels like I need to drink it like I’m taking a shot of tequila. This smoothie on the other hand is so amazing. Its a lighter smoothie that’s so refreshing you will just want to make a pitcher of it. Packed with green tea, kiwi, granny smith apple and banana, so you know you’re getting the good stuff in this smoothie.
GREEN TEA KIWI SMOOTHIE – 2 Servings
- 1 frozen banana, peeled and chopped before freezing.
- 2 kiwis, peeled and chopped
- 1 granny smith apple, peeled and chopped
- 3/4 cup green tea, steeped for 10 minutes or overnight in the fridge
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1-2 tsp agave nectar
Place everything in a blender and blend until completely smooth. Chill or serve immediately.
