Flu be gone Smoothie

Its time for another smoothie recipe! Soon my blog will have to be called simple vegan smoothies or smoothies ahoy!

This is a great smoothie for when you’re fighting a bad case of the sniffles.  Its loaded with lemon, ginger and mint all known for their anti viral benefits.

FLU BE GONE SMOOTHIE serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana. peeled and chopped before freezing
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup honeydew melon, chopped
  • half of a lemon, juiced
  • 1 – 2 tbsp minced ginger
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup water

Directions

Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth.
