Its time for another smoothie recipe! Soon my blog will have to be called simple vegan smoothies or smoothies ahoy!
This is a great smoothie for when you’re fighting a bad case of the sniffles. Its loaded with lemon, ginger and mint all known for their anti viral benefits.
FLU BE GONE SMOOTHIE – serves 2
- 1 frozen banana. peeled and chopped before freezing
- 1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup honeydew melon, chopped
- half of a lemon, juiced
- 1 – 2 tbsp minced ginger
- 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup water
Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth.
