Hello lovelies! Today was a fun packed day. We went to check out the Johannesburg Art Gallery and I can’t believe I haven’t moved into that place yet. This beautiful gallery is situated in downtown Johannesburg, yes this will put a lot of people off visiting the gallery, but its worth it, this gallery needs to be in this area to show everyone/inspire that art isn’t just about money, this gallery is for the people. Poor, middle class and the rich it doesn’t matter.
There are numerous painting and sculptures on display, ranging from foreign artist to graffiti art. They also have a multi sensory installation running by renowned artist William Kentridge. Sitting and watching his work was truly amazing.
I was a little love struck and surprised I didn’t burst into tears when I finally saw it.
